Frequently Asked Questions
Do you just see clients who aren’t Christian?
Absolutely! While some people seek us out because of some spiritual affiliation we have, we take clients from all different faith backgrounds and walks of life.
We love meeting people who are different from myself, and YOUR values are what guide the therapeutic process. We’ll never encourage you to step outside of your own value system.
How much are sessions? Do you take insurance?
Individual sessions range from $100 to $195, depending on the practitioner. We generally are not able to work with insurance.
Where are your offices located?
We do all of our work via “telehealth” meaning we do not have an office where clients are seen face-to-face. We started this during the pandemic and discovered that it worked so well we wanted to keep at it.
What are your hours?
We see clients Monday through Saturday and our hours vary depending on the day. The easiest way to find out if there’s a time that works for you is to click on the “BOOK NOW” box in the upper right-hand corner of the site (or you can click here) and see what hours the clinician you’d like to work with has available. The electronic scheduling system is VERY simple.
How long are the sessions?
Sessions last 50 minutes, which is a clinical hour. This leaves us 10 minutes to take care of your paperwork and breathe a bit between sessions.
How do I set up an initial appointment?
Click the “BOOK NOW” box in the upper right-hand corner of the site, or you can click here. If there are no times available that fit for you, feel free to text at 480-881-7058 and we’ll see what we can arrange.
What is your cancellation policy?
We have a 24-hour cancellation policy, meaning you have to let me know 24 hours in advance if you’re not able to attend.
What age ranges do you work with?
We work with adults ages 18 to whatever. We know some great child and adolescent therapists though – feel free to reach out if you’d like a referral.
Who do you work with?
We work with men, women, and couples.
What do you “actually” do in sessions with clients?
The process varies somewhat from person to person, but we like to start off by talking a bit about your goals. Then we work together to come up with a treatment plan that maps out how we’re going to get from where we are to where you’re wanting to go.
How long will I need to work with you to get better?
That depends on your goals and how willing you are to work on the things that are underneath whatever is bringing you in. That said, we find that many of our clients start seeing benefits in 5 or 6 sessions.
When we meet we will give you an estimate regarding how long we think you can expect to be working on the issue(s) you’d like to address.
